Dr. Konstantinos O. Oureilidis received his Diploma (2008) and PhD degrees (2015) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki (2015). Currently, he works with the Hellenic Power Exchange (HEnEX) and he is a post-doc researcher at AUTh. During the winter semester of 2016-2017, he was an adjunct lecturer for the course of Electric Motion Systems in AUTh and he was a lab assistant for the course of Power Electronics at the Department of Electrical Engineering of Western Macedonia University of Applied Sciences. During the academic years 2015-2017, he received funding from IKY Fellowships of Excellence for postgraduate studies in Greece – Siemens Program for his post-doc research. He has extensive experience with Horizon 2020, Med and solar-era.net Projects, while he was a member of the writing research team of EASY-RES. He has also worked as a freelancer conducting energy projects, technical and economical projects for investment laws, and inspecting the design and performance of photovoltaic projects. His fields of interest include the microgrids, control of power electronics, distributed generation, renewable energy sources and protection. He is a member of IEEE and member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
