As innovative answers to these challenges involve digitalisation and a sustainable energy transition, the ZD.B thematic platform “Digitalization in the Energy Sector” and the EU project EASY-RES will be present there.
The E-world energy & water 2020
The E-world energy & water is a trade fair for the European energy and water industry, which brings together international decision-makers in these fields every year. About 20 percent of the exhibitors come from abroad, the majority of them from the European Union. The exhibitors will focus on the following topics:

Meet EASY-RES in Essen!
The ZD.B thematic platform “Digitalization in the Energy Sector" addresses all areas of the digital energy transition. In particular the use of digital technology to manage network congestion problems, the efficient network reinforcement, the regional use of flexibility, energy efficiency, integrated energy management, the integration of renewable energies and the mobility- and heating transformation. Our goal: Promoting Bavaria’s energy future through digitalization in a sustainable way.
EASY-RES is a European research project of the thematic platform in cooperation with 11 partners in six EU countries. The project team develops novel control algorithms and innovative ancillary services, which will allow the penetration of up to 100% of renewable energy sources in the European energy system.
