The EASY-RES team will present two papers at this year’s SEST 2021 – The 4th International Conference on Smart Energy Systems and Technologies. The conference will take place as online event from September 6-8, 2021.

Which papers will be presented?

  1. ‘Ramp-Rate Control of DRES employing Supercapacitors in Distribution Systems’. The paper ranks among the top 10 Percent of the papers submitted and is therefore BEST PAPER AWARD NOMINEE.
  2. ‘Energy management in Converter-Interfaced Renewable Energy Sources through Ultracapacitors for provision of Ancillary Services’. This paper ranks among the top 50 percent of the papers submitted.

When will the EASY-RES papers be presented?

Both EASY-RES papers (no. 339 and no. 26) will be presented on Monday, 6 September in the evening at 19.30-21.00! Please find the full SEST program here.

What to know about the SEST 2021?

The SEST conference aims at providing an opportunity to discuss various engineering challenges of smart energy system design and operation by focusing on advanced methods and practices for designing different components and their integration within the grid. It also provides a forum for researchers from academia and professionals from industry, as well as government regulators to tackle these challenges, and discuss and exchange knowledge and best practices about design and implementation of smart energy systems. The conference is sponsored by IEEE and the Vaasa University.
